Designed as a whole-house UV system for larger NZ homes, Aqua JUMBO comfortably serves 3–5 bathrooms and multiple outlets at once, delivering safe, chemical-free drinking water on demand. With twin 20-inch Big Blue housings and an appropriate pump, its Viqua UV is rated at 130 litres per minute (L/min) at 16 mJ/cm², 70 L/min at 30 mJ/cm² and 54 L/min at 40 mJ/cm² (at 95% UV transmittance). For stream, spring or dam water, we size it to the 40 mJ/cm² rating. Ideal for light commercial use (cafés, B&Bs, workshops, farm sheds), it handles higher flows without compromising disinfection.

Twin 20″ heavy-duty, WaterMark-approved Alpine Pure Big Blue/Jumbo housings: 100% polypropylene housings, heads materials complying with NSF/ANSI Standard 42. Supplied with Alpine Pure gradient-density pre-filters: 20 µm + 1 µm (NSF/ANSI 42) to step down sediment, improve clarity, and boost UV transmittance. Built-in pressure gauges make it easy to monitor differential pressure for timely cartridge changes, maintaining high flow and low pressure drop while protecting the UV chamber.

Aqua JUMBO’s twin 20″ Alpine Pure Big Blue/Jumbo housings carry the WaterMark Certificate of Conformity, all wetted plastics are 100% polypropylene with materials complying with NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for drinking-water contact, ideal for NZ installs under G12/AS1 (use a licensed plumber). The UV stage (Viqua VH410) uses a food-grade stainless-steel reactor with a low-pressure, high-output UV-C lamp (≈254 nm) inside a high-purity quartz sleeve for maximum UV transmission.

At Aqua Works, we guarantee E. coli*-free drinking water that meets New Zealand drinking water standards and all legal requirements.
Applies to rainwater and bore water with the right pre-treatment, when Aqua Works installs or services your UV system and keeps servicing it at the agreed intervals (usually every 12 months). It doesn’t cover surface water from streams, rivers, dams or lakes. We can’t take responsibility if your raw water quality changes. Recommended testing: rainwater, none needed; bore water, a full routine chemical test every two years; commercial supplies, E. coli every 3 months plus a full routine chemical test every 12 months.
*E. coli-free means no active E. coli and water that passes NZ drinking water standards.
