We are a purpose-driven, local, family-owned business dedicated to providing products and services for clean, healthy and efficiently delivered water throughout the entire Rodney district, from Waipu to Auckland, coast to coast. Currently, we are looking for a
Certifying Plumber & Drainlayer @ Aqua Works
Aqua Works in Rodney is a well-established, local business based in Warkworth. We cover the Rodney district, Waipu coast to Albany. We currently run 4 service vehicles with another one to be added this year.
We work predominantly in the rural sector installing Water Pumps, UV filtration systems, Rain Harvesting equipment and Bore Water treatment systems. We also work in urban areas as the demand for whole-house filtration grows.
We have excellent opportunities for growth. As a well-established company, we have strong local relationships with customers and the community. We would like to see you growing the plumbing side of the business in: HWC, new builds and the commercial side of water treatment.
You will be working solo some of the time and also training our apprentices. We have adult plumbing & drainlaying apprentices/technicians that you will be supervising.

Experience
Water pump experience is useful, full training on water pumps, water treatment and filtration will be given as required.

- be someone who enjoys problem-solving on the job – there is a lot of this with water pump issues.
- work methodically, with consistency and have an attention to detail
- be someone who takes pride with their own tools – your tool kit needs hand tools and cordless power tools
- enjoy working in small teams, whilst performing a high standard of work, and being there for our customers.
- enjoy working in small communities where you are known by our customers and town folk.
- Have a full NZ Driver’s License and be someone who takes care of vehicles.
- have current PGDB certifying registration
