Water Tanks for Omaha Homes and Coastal Properties

Owning a home in Omaha should be about enjoying it, not arriving for summer and discovering a problem with your water supply.

With many Omaha properties relying on rainwater, a well-designed and well-maintained tank system is an essential part of the home. Storage needs to be sufficient for the way the property is used, while the tank, pump, plumbing and water treatment need to work reliably together.

For bach owners, reliability matters even more when you’re not there every week. A tank can be filling, a pump can be sitting idle and a filtration system can go months between visits, yet everything needs to work when you arrive. Permanent residents need the same confidence every day of the year.

Omaha also has specific requirements around on-site potable water storage in parts of the area, so new builds and major changes need to be planned with the property and its requirements in mind.

Aqua Works works across Omaha and the wider Matakana Coast, giving you a local team that can assess, install and service your system, whether you’re at the property or not.

Concrete water tank replacement in Point Wells

The existing concrete water tank at this Point Wells property was showing its age and had started to deteriorate and crumble. Positioned directly beside the family’s terrace, it also took up valuable space they wanted to use to create a more attractive outdoor living and garden area.

Aqua Works managed the entire replacement project, starting with finding a suitable new location for a 25,000 litre plastic water tank. Access was particularly challenging, with the new tank having to pass down the side of the house with only around 10 mm of clearance. Careful measuring and planning before the tank was ordered ensured we could get it through the narrow access and into position.

Once the tank was in place, our team installed new underground pipework and connected the new tank to the home’s plumbing and pump system. The old deteriorating concrete tank could then be removed, freeing up the area beside the terrace.

The family now has a reliable new water storage system in a better location, while gaining valuable space beside their home for future landscaping and outdoor living.

“We have had Aqua Works at our property to install a new water tank with a new pump and water filters. That went so well that we have also been calling on them for all the plumbing work needed during our renovations. Troy has been our plumber and he is professional, reliable, clever and so personable to have around, which makes a real difference when you have a lot of work to do. Therefore, we would highly recommend Aqua Works, they will be our go-to for all plumbing work from now on.”

FAQ about Water Tank Installation Omaha

How much water storage do I need for my Omaha property?

That depends on how many people use the property, whether it is a permanent home or bach, your roof catchment area and your existing water storage. We assess these factors before recommending the right tank capacity for your property.

Can you add a second water tank to my existing system in Omaha?

Yes. Adding a second tank is often a practical way to increase water storage without replacing your existing tank. We assess the available space, tank levels, plumbing, pump and existing setup to determine the best way to integrate additional storage.

Can Aqua Works manage the entire water tank installation?

Yes. We can take care of the complete project, including site preparation, excavation, tank placement, plumbing, pumps and water treatment. You have one team managing the job rather than having to coordinate several different contractors.

Do I need to be at my Omaha property while the work is being done?

Not necessarily. Many of our customers don’t live at their Omaha property full-time. Where access can be arranged, we can carry out the work while you’re away and keep you informed throughout the project.

Can you replace an old concrete or plastic water tank in Omaha?

Yes. We can assess your existing tank and site, remove the old tank where required, prepare the area for its replacement and connect the new tank to your water system. Even difficult-access sites can often be managed with the right planning and equipment.

Can you install a water meter on a tank-water property in Omaha?

Yes. If your home uses tank water but is connected to the wastewater network, a water meter may allow wastewater charges to be based on your actual water use rather than an estimate.
